Big questions

This project aims to establish principles of bio-nano interactions and generate predictive relationships that inform the design of new particles for nanomedicine.

Rationale

The capacity to predict interactions between nanomaterials and cells will benefit the rational design of novel nanomedicines. However, these fundamental relationships have not been systematically studied. By examining various nanoparticle systems with primary human blood cells, we aim to establish principles of bio-nano interactions and generate predictive relationships that can inform the next generation of nanomedicines.
